Kory Fong, Head, Cybersecurity Lab, RBC
Kory Fong currently leads the cybersecurity lab in T&O Innovation where he works on topics ranging from applied machine learning in security to novel approaches to fraud mitigation. He completed his M.Sc. from Princeton University where he worked on information retrieval techniques that could circumvent traditional enterprise safeguards. He has previously worked in as a security software engineering at Google, Blackberry and IBM.
Douglas Stebila is an Associate Professor working on cryptography in the Department of Combinatorics & Optimization. His research focuses on improving the security of Internet cryptography protocols such as SSL/TLS and SSH, and developing practical quantum-resistant cryptosystems.
Mike Brown, CTO and Co-founder, ISARA
As ISARA Corporation’s Chief Technology Officer (CT0) and Co-founder, Mike Brown is focused on the technical vision and direction for ISARA Corporation.
Mike was most recently the Vice President of Security Product Managementand Research at BlackBerry, where he co-founded the product security practice and was responsible for the vision and execution of security for all BlackBerry products. Mike has spoken at global security events including RSA, CTIA, GTEC, Bloomberg, APECTEL and InfoSec Europe. He holds a Masters of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, focusing on cryptography.
