David James Hudson
David James Hudson is an award-winning writer and performer, as well as an associate librarian and library and information studies scholar at University of Guelph. His creative and scholarly work is primarily concerned with race, racism, and anti-racism, especially with the way these phenomena have come to be conceptualized (both historically and in the present day) and the interests such conceptualizations have served. He explores such questions with particular attention to contexts of library and information work, Black diasporic life, colonialism, and capitalism. Tingting Zhu
Tingting Zhu is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, cross-appointed in Computer Science and Geographic Information Science (GIS). Currently, she is also serving as the GIS Program Director at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM), overseeing curriculum development and fostering interdisciplinary applications of GIS. She has published and presented in various venues including computing education research and geography education conferences, and interdisciplinary journals on themes such as engagement through storytelling, implications of GenAI in education, competency-based curricula, and experiential learning. She adopts mixed-methods approach in pedagogical research, employing tools like learning analytics and surveys. In addition to her academic role, Dr. Zhu serves as an editorial board member for Geomatica, a peer-reviewed journal that bridges the gap between research and real-world applications.
