Abstract

Quantec Geoscience has been providing ground geophysical surveys to the geothermal and mining exploration industries for over 30 years. This talk will discuss the magneto-telluric (MT) survey method and provide some examples of geothermal results from Turkey and porphyry copper / gold mining results from South America. The DC resistivity and induced polarization (IP) methods will be discussed in conjunction with the same South American mining result and a Uranium mining result from Saskatchewan.
