A Rock in Memory of Richard Vollans

On Monday, June 9th, 2014 in the Peter Russell Rock Garden friends and co-workers joined together as a special rock specimen was unveiled and dedicated to the memory of Richard Vollans. After a few words from the Faculty, guests were encouraged to mingle over frosted cupcakes, watermelon and, of course, lemonade (Richard's favourite!).

Our congratulations to Richard Amos who will take up a new appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at Carleton University effective August 1, 2014.  We wish Richard and his family all the very best in Ottawa.
