Elizabeth Houghton wins 2015 Allen Freeze Award

Congratulations to undergraduate Elizabeth Anne Houghton for winning the 2015 Allen Freeze Award in Hydrogeology. The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences offers the annual award to the first- or second-year student who obtains the highest mark in EARTH 123 Introductory Hydrology.

Earth 123 was a very interesting course, presenting a great opportunity to work hard while enjoying the subject," said Elizabeth. "I feel very honoured to have received the Allan Freeze Award."

Elizabeth receives a $250 prize in addition to having her name added to the Allan Freeze recipients list.
