DESCRIPTION:Join us on Friday\, May 5th for a tour of the Peter Russell Roc
 k\nGarden. Located in the heart of campus\, the rock garden contains 80\ns
 pecimens from around the globe. Participants will learn about the\nhistor
 y of Earth\, mines and minerals of Canada as well as the unique\nrock str
 uctures of Ontario.\n\nThe 1.5 hour tour will be led by the Earth Scienc
 es Museum\n[/earth-sciences-museum/node/1] curator emeritus Peter Russell.
  \n\nThe tour will be from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM and will begin and end at
 \nUniversity of Waterloo\, Parking Lot C (off of Seagram Drive). The walk\
 nincludes paved surfaces throughout the campus and there is accessible\npa
 rking available closer to the rock garden (pickup a ticket from\nParking S
 ervices located on Ring Road).
