Atlantic Geoscience Society Contest


The Atlantic Geoscience Society offered to round up rocks from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick for the Rock Garden. They are having a contest for members to suggest a suitable rock to represent their provinces. The winning rocks will be shipped to Waterloo.

Pleistocene Camels?

You might have heard news of a recent discovery of mummified camel leg bone fragments of the genus Paracamelus on Ellesmere Island in Northern Canada. Here at the museum, we have a camel foot!
