My research interests focus on physical, chemical and biological processes involved in gas dynamics in soil systems. I develop experimental setups to perform gas percolation through highly instrumented soil columns under controlled conditions and use different reactive transport models.
During my postdoctoral position in the Ecohydrological Research Group at the University of Waterloo, I am in charge to improve the reactive transport tools to model gas and nutrients dynamic under freeze and thaw cycles. I am also participating on the design and supervision of column experiments on the same topic
