Research Scientist

Homa Kheyrollah PourMy main research interests are in applying remote sensing methods and mathematical modeling for the physical characterization of lakes with the intent of understanding of lake/land-atmosphere/climate interactions. My current areas of interest include the development of statistical modeling of the relationship between algal distributions and environmental drivers, including inland and lake meteorological forcings, nutrient sources, water temperature, and water quality, the response of lakes to contemporary and future (projected) climate conditions.
