Visiting from Tianjin University from September 2018 to February 2019
Dam interception affects nutrient transport and migration. The diversion of water and sediment from the dam also affects the retention time. I focus on the migration and transformation flux models of nitrogen and phosphorus at multiple interfaces in reservoirs using nitrogen and oxygen isotopes, land use types, meteorological and hydrological data. The interfaces include air-water interface, epilimnion, thermocline, hypolimnion, and the sediment-water interface. My aim is to better quantify the interception mechanism and flux of damming rivers.
