Research Associate
My research focuses on the assessment and modelling of aquatic ecosystem services, integrating hydro-ecological and socio-economic data and information to support the sustainable management of freshwater, estuarine and marine ecosystems.
I am especially interested in the spatial interlinkages between land use, watershed and coastal zone management, natural capital and ecosystem services accounting using geographical information systems, and uncertainty analysis in integrated environmental modelling of aquatic quality and biodiversity. I am also an Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Ecology and a member of the Editorial Board of Ocean and Coastal Management.
