    The Economics department celebrated the accomplishments of its’ graduate students at a virtual celebration on Zoom held on Friday, June 26, 2020. 
    Following opening remarks by Department Chair, Lutz-Alexander Busch, Professor Tom Parker got the celebration off to a good start with a violin solo of the classic St. Anne’s Reel!

  3. June 17, 20202020 Arts Alumni Gold Medal goes to Economics Student, Qingyi Yan

    Alumni Relations at the Unviersity of Waterloo recognizes the academic achievements of graduating students by awarding Alumni Gold Medals during the University's convocation ceremonies. One undergraduate student representing each of Waterloo's six faculties receives this prestigious award. This year, the Arts Alumni Gold Medal was awarded to Mathematical Economics student, Qingyi Yan.
