An economics conference put on by the UWaterloo Economics Society is happening this fall 2016 term!
eCon is an annual student run conference held at the University of Waterloo. It is hosted by the University of Waterloo’s Economics Society. The conference introduces students to general paths within the field of economics. This includes further education options, career strategy and different job markets. eCon 2016 will also include a networking session and a case competition with cash prizes.
The UW Economics Society is hosting a STATA tutorial! Learn from fellow students who have become well adept at the language and can explain it to you in an understandable format.
Topics include: regressive models, understand various Boolean operands that are applicable in most software, and manipulate large data-sets.
Great on the resume and for classes that require STATA!
