 jeromes/sju-peru]is an\ninternational\, community service learning experie
 nce involving a\n10-day learning tour with Fair Trade coffee co-operative 
 Café\nFemenino [https://www.cafefemenino.com/]. Students engage in\npre-
 departure programming and an on-campus course (RS 291) to prepare\nfor tra
 velling together to Peru from OCTOBER 9-18\, 2026 (READING\nWEEK). During 
 this experience we explore how FAIR TRADE supports\nethical production and
  consumption practices\, environmental\nstewardship/climate adaptation\, w
 omen’s empowerment\, Indigenous\nrights\, and more. We see and experienc
 e first-hand the COMPLETE\nFARM-TO-TABLE PROCESS OF GROWING COFFEE and par
 ticipate in building a\nSUSTAINABLE WATER MANAGEMENT project alongside a r
 ural farming\ncommunity in northern Peru. Join us and be a part of this 18
 -year\nstory of international friendship and solidarity through service\nl
 earning. Any UW undergraduate student is welcome and encouraged to\npartic
