  consumption practices\, environmental\nstewardship/climate adaptation\, w
 omen’s empowerment\, Indigenous\nrights\, and more. We see and experienc
 e first-hand the COMPLETE\nFARM-TO-TABLE PROCESS OF GROWING COFFEE and par
 ticipate in building a\nSUSTAINABLE WATER MANAGEMENT project alongside a r
 ural farming\ncommunity in northern Peru. Join us and be a part of this 18

DESCRIPTION:BRIEF OVERVIEW\n\nThe Econometrics Game is an annual competitio
 n jointly organized by\nOeconomica\, the Becker Friedman Institute for Res
 earch in Economics\,\nand the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics. 
 It is a fast-paced\ncompetition that takes place over a weekend: On Saturd
 ay\, teams of one\nto four undergraduates from across the U.S. and around 
 the world are\ngiven a dataset and tasked with devising an answer to a que
 stion of\neconomic importance in the next 13 hours in the form of a resear
 ch\npaper. On Sunday morning\, the finalists are selected and present thei
 r\nfindings in front of a panel of judges\, who determine the final\nplace
 ment. In previous years\, judges included Nobel Prize-winning\neconomists 
 such as James Heckman and Lars Peter Hansen.\n\nPrizes for top-performing 
 teams include iPads\, top range Bluetooth\nspeakers\, and economics-themed
  merchandise. We also provide\nopportunities to network with our sponsors\
 , which include top economic\nconsulting firms such as Cornerstone Researc
 h and Analysis Group.\n\nEVENT LOGISTICS\n\nThe 2026 Econometrics Game wil
 l begin with a remote preliminary round\nin January or February. The preli
 minary round will be an asynchronous\ntake-home task testing the teams’ 
 ability to apply econometric\ntechniques to real-world problems. The quali
 fiers will be invited to\nthe in-person final round\, held in person from 
 Friday\, April 10 to\nSunday\, April 12\, 2026. \n\nRegistration for the 
 preliminary round is now open and will close\nat 5 PM CENTRAL TIME ON FEB

DESCRIPTION:The Master of Peace and Conflict Studies (MPACS) is a vibrant\,
 \ninterdisciplinary academic program that empowers students with\nknowledg
 e and skills to contribute to nonviolent peacebuilding.\n\nTurbulent times
  call for people who understand systems of violence and\nconflict\, and wh
 o are prepared to build peace with justice. MPACS\nuniquely prepares its g
 raduates to be catalysts for peace at\ncommunity\, institutional\, and sys
 temic levels. A rigorous course-based\nprofessional degree program\, MPACS
  connects theory\, analysis\,\nreflection\, and practice. Our distinctive 
 focus is on civil society\nand community-led change. The program provides 
 graduates with tools to\nunderstand sources of conflict\, polarization\, a
 nd systems of\noppression\, as well as to imagine and support transformati
 ve\npeacebuilding.\n\nJoin our community-centered learning environment\, a
