Economics department launches Request Tracker (RT) system for undergraduate advising

Tuesday, October 28, 2014

Effective October 2014, the Economics Undergraduate Office is using the Request Tracker (RT) system for undergraduate student advising.

We encourage students to submit their requests via RT rather than by e-mail. Students will receive confirmation that their request has been received, and a follow-up e-mail from an advisor once their question/concern/form has been reviewed.

The RT system can be used for plan modifications, course overrides, ECON 472 exemptions, co-op sequence changes, and other general advising questions. You can also upload files (such as forms).

How to use RT

  1. Follow the links below to submit a request via web form or by RT e-mail
  2. If using the web form, on the log in screen, log in using your University of Waterloo WatIam credentials.
  3. You should be taken to a "create a ticket" page.
  4. Create a subject line, requester (your uWaterloo e-mail), choose request type, and type your message before sending.
