Volunteer Opportunity: Meals on Wheels and More

Community Support Connections – Meals on Wheels and More (CSC) is currently recruiting volunteers to help people live in their own homes through a variety of programs. This month our focus is on recruiting Meals on Wheels volunteers. Our Meals on Wheels volunteers help deliver hot meals to older adults and adults with disabilities during the lunch hour from Monday to Friday. This is a great opportunity for everyone, but especially for anyone who has some free time during the summer months or those who are looking for more experience working with vulnerable populations.

Information Systems & Technology (IST) is happy to announce that Lynda.com — an online learning platform that helps users develop their business, software, technology, and creative skills — is now available to all University of Waterloo students. Our new campus-wide license includes undergraduate students and provides unlimited access to over 6,000 online courses taught by experts in their fields.

Want to learn more about EDGE or check on your progress through the certificate? The EDGE team is now offering drop-in advising in our East Campus 1 (EC1) office on Monday afternoons between 12:00-4:00 PM
