Volunteer Opportunity: Meals on Wheels and More

Community Support Connections – Meals on Wheels and More (CSC) is currently recruiting volunteers to help people live in their own homes through a variety of programs. This month our focus is on recruiting Meals on Wheels volunteers. Our Meals on Wheels volunteers help deliver hot meals to older adults and adults with disabilities during the lunch hour from Monday to Friday. This is a great opportunity for everyone, but especially for anyone who has some free time during the summer months or those who are looking for more experience working with vulnerable populations.

Check out the REC 252 showcase on November 30

REC 252: Therapeutic Recreation: Physical Disabilities students have spent much of this term working on "educate the community" visual research projects focused on topics like visual impairments, hearing loss, and debilitating diseases. With exam season on the horizon, the students are opening up their work to faculty, staff, students, and members of the public with a showcase in the AHS expansion from 1:00-2:30 PM on Thursday, November 30.
