REC 252: Therapeutic Recreation: Physical Disabilities students have spent much of this term working on "educate the community" visual research projects focused on topics like visual impairments, hearing loss, and debilitating diseases. With exam season on the horizon, the students are opening up their work to faculty, staff, students, and members of the public with a showcase in the AHS expansion from 1:00-2:30 PM on Thursday, November 30.
If students' work on their projects meets the criteria regarding EDGE work and community experiences, they can submit their work in the course for consideration as an EDGE milestone.
"My hope is that you can join us to celebrate the student's successes (or failures)," writes REC 252 instructor Corey Johnson in an email, "but also to question and critique it to push them to think in more complex ways AND to encourage them to move their project forward toward utility in our KW community."
