UWaterloo, federal government and Magna International team up to ensure the safety of autonomous vehicles

$1.6-million project headed by Waterloo Engineering researchers aims to produce complex automotive software for connected and automated vehicles.

Engineering researchers at the University of Waterloo have teamed up with the federal government and Magna International to help ensure the safety and security of vehicles as they become increasingly autonomous.

Claudio Canizares named Director of WISE

Professor Claudio Cañizares has been appointed the Executive Director of the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy (WISE), for a term running from August 1, 2021 to July 31, 2026.
