Engineering Outreach's Engineering Science Quest (ESQ) programs are a mix of hands-on science and engineering projects, design challenges, and mentorship opportunities. All clubs and camps are taught by passionate Engineering or Science university students. We are pleased to announce ESQ’s Fall line-up of clubs, family workshops, and PD day camps.

ESQ TechQuest Clubs
4-Week In-Person Programs
When: Weekly on Tuesday evenings, Starting September 26th
- Junior Clubs: 4:00 - 6:00 pm
- Grades. 5-6 - Sept 26, Oct 3, 10, 17
- Grades 3-4 - Nov 7, 14, 21, 28
- Senior Clubs: 6:30 - 9:00 pm
- Grades 7-8 - Sept 26, Oct 3, 10, 17
- Grades 9-12 - Nov 7, 14, 21, 28

Program Pricing: $120 (+HST for grades 9-12 club)
Inviting all technology and robotics enthusiasts! Introducing ESQ’s TechQuest series, an after-school club for youth in Grades 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-12, which will run throughout the fall. In an inquiry-based curriculum, participants will create and problem-solve using different tech platforms with a focus on computer programming. Your child will be taught the fundamentals of coding and get the opportunity to work on a variety of fun coding projects over the four-weeks, such as creating their own interactive games and building robots. Are you ready to jump on the AI train and create systems that will automate our world? Join us!
Drop-off for all after-school clubs begins as early as 20 mins before the start time.

ESQ Early Birds Saturday Clubs
5-Week In-Person Programs
When: Weekly on Saturday Mornings, 9:00-11:30 am (see session dates below)
Location: UWaterloo Main Campus
Program Pricing: $140
Wake up and start your day off with ESQ! Join ESQ’s Saturday Morning Early Birds Club, and let’s explore what it’s like to be an engineer! Over the five-week program, your child will use inquiry-based learning in fun weekly themes, such as mad scientist and all things STEAM. We invite youth in Grades 1-3 to imagine, experiment, and create with us!
Drop-off is from 8:45-9:00 am for each club session.

Family STEM Drop-in Nights
Family Drop-in STEM Workshops
When: Monday evenings, 6:30 - 8:00 pm (see workshop dates below)
Location: UWaterloo Main Campus
Workshop price: $15
Calling all parents/guardians! Join ESQ Family STEM Night sessions on Monday nights throughout the fall. ESQ will be hosting 1.5 - 2 hour STEM workshops for youth and families with kids in Grades K-1, 2-3, and 4-5. The evening will challenge the whole family to use creativity and the engineering design process in hands-on workshop themes related to Climate Action, Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Affordable and Clean energy!
Workshop Dates:

- Grades 2-3: Oct 2, Oct 30, Nov 27
- Grades 4-5: Oct 16, Nov 6, Dec 4

PD Day Camps

Professional Development Days for WRDSB/WCDSB
When: 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Camp price: $80
ESQ is offering full-day PD Day camps for youth in grades 3-5. Our camp participants explore the world of science, engineering and technology through participation in exciting hands-on projects. Put your thinking caps on, and let’s explore all things STEM in this day of fun!
