bread boardRosalind meets once a month on Saturday afternoons to explore a Science & Engineering topic with a female role model in that field. Through hands-on activities and mentors, this program is designed to have an early positive influence on girls’ attitudes towards science, engineering and technology, increasing the likelihood that they will take science and math courses in secondary school and pursue careers in these areas.

Fall dates: September 30, October 21, November 18, December 9

Time: Saturday mornings from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
Lunch will be provided from 12 -1  pm (both seniors and juniors will mingle during this time and it also acts as a 1 hour drop-off/pick-up window for parents depending if they’re junior or senior)

Who: girls in grades 4-6

Cost: $75
