After School Clubs

After School Club is a co-ed program run on campus at University of Waterloo that is designed to give students in Grades 4 - 7 an eight week dive into the world of engineering and technology! They'll be with the same peer group and will explore different facets of STEM together.

Breadboard circuitThe goal is for students to experiment with technology at their own pace and apply new skills to fun, STEM-related challenges.

This program is unique in that progress is pushed along by each students' interest and curiosity.  We provide the resources and some starting information and they provide the creativity.

Junior After School Club is for grades 4-5 boys and girls. It is designed to give students an opportunity to explore hardware-software integration. We'll learn about the design and engineering of devices and technology.

There will be a couple of activities throughout this exciting 8 week program. The main one to highlight is Nintendo Labo - these are amazing kits that let students design and play with fun software and easy prototyping.

We'll also have some other great hardware-software integration challenges, like LittleBits
