Winter and March Break programming

Boy with lego creationOur school holiday programs are designed to be flexible to your family schedule. Registration is by the day, allowing you to pick which days you want to be at our program. Each day has different activities allowing for a unique experience for children who attend multiple sessions.

All sessions are $60/Day.

Winter programming

Available for youth currently in grades 1-3 and 4-6 at the Waterloo campus! These programs run during the two week break, and are dependent on what days the University is open. Activities run from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Drop - off will run from 8:30 - 9:00 am, and pick up from 4:00 - 4:30 pm.

The winter break program is designed to help fill the extra days during the two-week holiday break. Activities will cover a range of science, engineering and technology concepts, and will be different each day!

March Break Programming

Available for youth currently in grades 1 to 8 (Waterloo campus). Our Waterloo camps are Banting (grades 1-2), Suzuki (grades 3-4), Newton (grades 5-6) and a  VR* (virtual reality) focused program in partnership with CTRL V run out of Google Kitchener Community space and CTRL V Waterloo for grades 7-8 (transportation is provided). 

*Note that the VR camp is a week long program and is not offered day by day.

Engineering Science Quest's March Break program is a series of one day sessions held during March Break. These days are designed to be flexible, to allow guardians to select which days fit their March Break schedule best. 

Our camps run Monday to Friday, with drop off being from 8:30 to 9 AM. Pick up at the Waterloo Campus is from 4 to 5pm. Pick-up and drop-off for Virtual Reality camp is on Waterloo campus as usual and detailed above. We’ll be providing all bussing to/from CTRL V Waterloo and Google in Downtown Kitchener as part of the registration fee.

Our programming is developed by University students each term, so that it will be new and engaging each session! Parents of registered campers can email and request their child's camp schedule in March.

Our goal is to offer a variety of fun and educational activities that cover a whole range of engineering and science concepts daily.
