Engineering Science Quest (ESQ) Workshops are available during the period between October and December and from mid-January to mid-June.
ESQ offers a large variety of workshops that are appropriate for the elementary school classroom or community groups (such as guides and scouts). Each workshop is designed to compliment specific science outcomes as outlined in the Ontario Science curriculum documents.
Each activity starts with an introduction by University students, who will lead the hands-on activity as well as give a short lesson on the theory that the activity demonstrates.
These activities are an excellent way to reinforce concepts that have already been taught, or to get students excited for what they will be learning later in the unit.
Each workshop is only $55.00, with opportunities for discounts available to those who order a large number of workshops. Please contact us to discuss this bulk pricing.

Once you have decided on your workshops you can register online!
ESQ considers workshop registration from schools across southern Ontario, but we may not be able to run in your location due to travel considerations (distance and/or seasonal driving conditions). Some higher costs may apply if your school is a considerable distance away from the Waterloo Region and the number of workshops requested is low. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about your location and cost.
Depending on the time of the year, we may also be able to host your workshop on the Waterloo campus.
We are also willing to consider doing workshops via video conference with your school.
