Hey everyone! My name is Rohan Nankani. I am a 1A student in Software Engineering graduating in 2027.

I choose Waterloo Engineering because:
I believed that I would get the world class education provided here and will be surrounded with incredible students. Furthermore, I would get real world education through the co-op program.
The best thing about my program is:
The cohort is brilliant, I made friends instantly. Also the Software Engineering lounge in DC and EIT.
About my Co-op experience:
1A Student so I do not have co-op experience yet.
I wish I had known before I came:
All the cool design teams that exist and joining them ASAP.
Outside the classroom, I’m involved with:
I am involved in soccer, badminton. No extracurriculars yet as I just started my time at Waterloo.
A fun project I’ve completed:
I have created a cool Software Engineering program for Lyft where I had to refactor a program. It was written very poorly before and I had to organize it very logically.
One more thing about me:
I love Waterloo Engineering.
