Role and responsibilities:

Gathers data, conducts analyses and prepares strategic proposals in support of major grant competitions.

Contact for:

• Information regarding the Faculty of Engineering’s research strengths, outputs, funding and impacts; commercialization and entrepreneurship activity.
• Assistance in developing reports and analyses of the existing research strengths of the Faculty’s departments and schools, and the development potential of these research areas with respect to emerging national and international priorities.

Role and responsibilities: 

Grows the Faculty of Engineering’s research portfolio by pursuing major research funding opportunities, strengthening the Engineering research ecosystem, and quantifying Engineering's research strengths, thus raising the profile of Waterloo Engineering research.

• Maximize the operational effectiveness of the Faculty’s research support services
• Facilitate the discussion of strategic priorities with stakeholders across campus
• Identify new national and international opportunities, pursuing these and other  major research funding opportunities
