Role and responsibilities:

Provides strategic and administrative support to the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies including financial administration of Graduate Scholarships, review of departmental offers of admissions, support and direction to engineering departments and other on-campus units, and support of strategic communications for graduate operation processes.

Plans and implements strategic enrolment management initiatives related to graduate studies within the Faculty of Engineering to improve the student experience.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Answer questions from students and faculty interested in Mitacs funding options
  • Assist students in preparing applications for internships with industry partners using Mitacs funding
  • Support faculty applying for Mitacs funding - including budget creation, proposal  review and submission guidance
  • Consult with industry and NFP partners to explore Mitacs funding options for research partnerships
  • Work with Engineering team and  Co-op BDs and AMs, to expand existing partnerships and bring in new opportunities for funding through Mitacs client networks
