You will always find the important dates for each term posted in the Graduate Studies Calendar.
To allow for processing time, your department has set earlier deadlines to ensure the Graduate Studies and PostDoctoral Affairs (GSPA) deadlines listed in the Graduate Studies Calendar can be met.
If you submit your paperwork after these departmental deadlines there is no guarantee your request will be approved and processed before the GSPA deadlines.
Change of Enrolment and Program Change
Change of Enrolment status/withdrawal and Program Change forms must be processed by government count date each term. Any forms submitted after the department deadlines listed below may not be approved.
In the case of a Program Change, your request will only be processed for the following term:
Student deadline to submit
|Fall||November 1||October 1|
|Winter||February 1||January 8|
|Spring||June 30 (expected)||June 1|
Exception: If you are voluntarily withdrawing from your program and wish to receive the tuition refund associated with the 100% refund or 50% refund deadlines you must submit your paperwork to departments two weeks before those deadlines.
Intent to Graduate forms
If you are looking to complete your program, you are encouraged to review the Steps to Graduate.
Deadlines for submission are:
- Spring Term: April 15
- Fall Term: August 15
- Winter Term: December 15
Change of Supervisor forms can be submitted at any time.
Travel Claim (Graduate Studies Research Travel Assistantship) forms must be submitted by the dates indicated on the form:
- April 1 for Spring term travel
- August 1 for Fall term travel
- December 1 for Winter term travel
