To celebrate International Education Week, the Faculty of Engineering is hosting a series of events open to all faculty, staff and students. You are welcome to sign up for one or all events that appeal to you. The goal of this event is to celebrate the diverse culture, ethnicities and backgrounds that exist within the Faculty.

Tuesday, November 19

Wednesday, November 20

  • International Marketplace & Info Booths | 11:00 am – 3:00 pm | E7, 1st Floor          
  • $10 Lunch  - Tastes of the Middle East |11:30 am – 1:00 pm | E7, Event Space 

Thursday, November 21

  • Free DAAD Info Session - Scholarships & Grants for Study, Research & Internships  in Germany | 11:00 – 11:30 am | E7, 1331                      
  • $10 Lunch - Tastes of Germany | 11:30 am – 1:00 pm| E7, Event Space
  • Free Lecture – Alexandre Trudeau, Documentary Filmmaker & Journalist. Title - Multilingualism in an Increasingly Globalized World | 1:00 – 3:00 pm  | Humanities Theatre           

Please visit the event listing for more information about the lectures. You must register in advance for the lunches and lectures and the prices include HST. Lunches are non-refundable and payment will be collected at the door (credit, debit and cheque only; cash cannot be accepted).

Lunch menus are listed below. Please note that there are no substitutions. Lunches will take place each of the designated days in the E7 Event Space. You can arrive anytime between 11:30 am - 1:00 pm to enjoy your lunch.

Truthanpeffer on Roesti (Braised turkey breast with crispy potato pancake)
Mini Zwiebelkuchen (Onion Pie)
Caraway sauerkraut
Fall Rumtoph (Spice syrup dressed fall fruit)
