An Interdisciplinary Forum for Graduate Student Research

The 2016 Water Institute RBC Distinguished Lecturer is Dr. Jay Famiglietti, University of California, Irvine and California Institute of Technology. His lecture will be on the topic of Water and sustainability: 21^st Century realities and the global groundwater crisis.

This is a free public lecture.

For those unable to attend in person, the lecture will also be available via livestream after the lecture.

The Water Institute's Research Symposium 2016 provides an opportunity for attendees to join researchers, students and Water Institute partners to explore the outstanding water-related research taking place at Waterloo.

Come join us on Wednesdays at lunch and enjoy a relaxing, stress-free space. This drop-in program is designed to help you reduce stress and learn ways to find balance and well-being. Each week facilitators will introduce you to stress management practices to help you find relief from stress. These practices will be something you can learn to do yourself to prevent and reduce negative impact of stress. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring a note pad and pen.

ExpecTAtions is a two-day workshop that prepares Waterloo Engineering students in research-based programs to undertake a teaching assistantship.
