The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) has four main thematic research areas; Smart and Function Materials, Connected Devices, Next Generation Energy Systems and Therapeutics and Theranostics. To showcase the work going on within these areas, WIN will be holding Thematic Seminars featuring our members and their research group members.
This month's WIN Thematic Seminar will highlight the Next Generation Energy Systems theme with research presented by Niloo Misaghian and Professor Jeff Gostick from the Department of Chemical Engineering.

Hosted by the Centre for Bioengineering and Biotechnology (CBB) at the University of Waterloo, our goal is to explore the use of technology for safe and accessible health care by examining the status of virtual delivery of care, enabling emerging technologies, and ensuring ethical and safe interventions for the betterment of our society and improved public health outcomes.

On March 8th, International Women’s Day, The Undergraduate and Graduate Women in Engineering Committee will be hosting a panel discussion on breaking the bias in engineering! Hear from a powerful group of female and non-binary industry leaders about their experiences, journey and advice for women in engineering! Registration is required to attend the event.

Everyone makes mistakes, but most of us don't like to talk about them. Join us in the heart of Vancouver at the Microsoft Centre of Excellence to hear fellow alumni turn some of their biggest blunders into talking points.
