Eastern Canada Student Energy Conference

The First Annual Eastern Canada Student Energy Conference will be hosted jointly by the UW and UofT Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Chapters. 

This conference is an annual event where students from Eastern Canada can learn about the complexities, challenges and realities of the oil and gas industry, build their networks and foster their passion. 

It will include the following technical seminars led by industry experts:
• Professor Maurice Dussault on Hydraulic Fracturing
• Imperial Oil's Rick Gallant on Expanding the Technology Envelope
• Shell's Fraser Godfrey on Logistical System and Challenges in Moving Crude and Product from Origin to Marketplace
• Suncor's Russel Engelman on Resources Management in In-situ
