Speaker Bio

Janét Aizenstros is Chairwoman & CEO of Ahava Group Global (AGG)—a women-led modern media parent company that serves Fortune clients and media companies in nine locations globally. AGG’s success is attributable to Janét’s strength of anticipating trends and her agility in responding proactively. The company’s client base enjoys solutions exclusive to the brand’s level of social influence and innovation. In 2017, two AGG companies, Ahava Digital Group and LOVE Lifestyle Publishing Group, were each awarded by CV Magazine: “Best UK Creative Agency” for the publishing company and the digital consultancy received the Canadian Business award for being one of the fastest-growing agencies in Canada.

She has sat on the board of directors for Guelph Inspiration, a musical event celebrating the arts, and the Guelph Arts Council. Janét a member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (iab) in the U.S. where she sits on committees for Data Benchmarks & Activation, Multicultural, Identity & Audience Data Social Media and COPPA She is a leader within the Google’s Women Techmakers, the UN Women Initiative for the National Council of Women in Canada and the 30% Club Canada —an organization that includes Chairs and CEOs to achieve better gender balance at board level and senior management levels working closely with Catalyst and Catalyst Accord initiatives.

Her comprehensive background spans roles at TD Canada Trust, Canon and Brookfield LePage Johnson Controls, along with management consulting in a broad range of functions, from supply chain operations, data analysis and finance to strategic thinking at both corporate and start-up levels. Through her adept leadership and vision, the digital consultancy she founded in 2011 has swiftly grown into a multi-faceted company with an international presence.

Throughout her career, Janét has received many awards and nominations such as being recognized as one of the Top 10 Inspiring Women in Canada, deemed as one of the Top 50 Women in Social Media,  2013 - 2014 YMCA-YWCA Woman of Distinction Business and Entrepreneur Awards and awarded one of 2015 Top 100 Black Women To Watch in Canada along with the 2016 Top 40 under 40 for the city of Guelph.  Her current pending nominations are 2019 Conscious Business Leaders List, 2019 EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women and the 2019 RBC Woman of Distinction Awards.

In 2016, the Janét Aizenstros Foundation was founded to support pioneering programs in arts, education, literacy, technology and entrepreneurship.

Currently, her efforts are channeled into the newly launched Ahava Holdings & Ventures—a private holding company and early-stage venture firm that focuses on building great technology and media companies while preserving history through real estate.
