SUMMARY:Seminar - “Bioactive Peptides from Enzymatic Hydrolysates of Deer
\nProtein” by Yan Jin\, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics\, Chinese\n
 Academy of Science
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:ABSTRACT:  Deer constitutes an important animal in traditional
\nChinese medicine and most deer organs are used as medicines or\nnourishm
ent in traditional Chinese medicine. The most valuable portion\nof deer is
the antler. With the development of deer breeding in\nnortheast China\, m
any other deer organs are now harvested after the\nantler is collected. De
er protein is the valuable source for producing\nbioactive peptides\, whic
h have been defined as specific protein\nfragments that have a positive im
 pact on health.
