DESCRIPTION:There is an increasing trend in the electric utilities to perfo
 rm\nreal-time simulation of power systems to test their protection and\nco
 ntrol hardware. The real-time simulation can become prohibitively\nexpensi
 ve for large power systems. A solution to this is to divide the\nsystem in
 to an internal system where all details are important and an\nexternal sys
 tem (the rest of the system) where some details are not\nimportant.
