Ritcha Ranjan (BASc 1999, Systems Design Engineering), director of product management at Google is looking forward to hosting an exclusive virtual Office Hour for fellow alumni and current Waterloo Engineering students.
During this Office Hour, Ritcha will talk about her career journey from her time earning her BASc at the University of Waterloo to where she is now at Google as the director of product management. She will share her personal and career experiences when working for several technology companies including Microsoft, Yahoo! and Google. She will also share her insight into the latest and future of technology.

Ritcha is the Director of Product Management for small and medium businesses ads at Google. While at Google, she has also worked on Google Finance, GPay, GSuite, Google Wallet, Adwords Editor, and Mobile search products. Ritcha is a co-founder of an educational not for profit company, Five Pumpkins, and has previously worked at Microsoft in the Speech Group, leading the Speech SDK PM team and Yahoo! as a Product Marketing Manager. She holds several patents and has won a Google Founder's Award for her product work. Ritcha currently serves on the Product Management Hiring Committee and Promotion Committee at Google. She is on the board of BrightCove, a video streaming platform, and TalentNomics, a non-profit organization that is focused on empowering women in the workplace.
Ritcha has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
