Over three months into its unprovoked invasion, Russian forces continue to systematically destroy Ukrainian cities and lives, unfolding a humanitarian disaster on an unprecedented scale. More than half of Ukrainian families have been separated, with five million Ukrainian refugees driven abroad and more than ten million people displaced internally. The scale of the societal impact is staggering. Just imagine every third Canadian displaced and jobless, and every family from coast to coast torn apart and grieving.

University for Ukraine (U4U) is a humanitarian grassroots fundraising initiative led by a group of students, staff, and faculty who are working to show their solidarity, and provide relief for the victims of the war in Ukraine through major official charities in Canada, including Canada Ukraine Foundation, Canadian Red Cross, and UNICEF Canada.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said publicly he is betting on the world losing interest in helping Ukraine. We hope you will join us in proving him wrong.

Individual donations can be made through the dedicated online platform directly linked to the abovementioned humanitarian programs with established presence in Ukraine. Individual charity selection can be made by each donor, with an immediate charitable donation receipt issued by the hosting platform.
