Professional registration

Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) sets standards for and regulates engineering practice in the province. It has a statutory mandate under the Professional Engineers Act to protect the public interest where engineering is concerned.

For accreditation purposes, Engineers Canada requires faculty teaching engineering science or design to be registered as a professional engineer in Canada.  Information relating to the application process can be found on our SharePoint Intranet site.  Contact Cathy Seitz for access.
