Profile
My first-year advisor/administrator duties include:
- Academic Advisor: communicate with hundreds of students per year to discuss things like study skills, transfers, electives, promotion rules, and extenuating circumstances;
- Examinations and Promotions (E and P): review end-of-term marks and promotions, and help prepare and present petitions to the E and P committee;
- Academic Discipline: investigate possible academic offences, and draft informal resolutions for academic discipline;
- Scheduling: set course timetables and examination schedules.
I work closely with the Administrative Co-ordinator, Associate Director, and Director of First-Year Engineering.
I am also a lecturer with the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Department. I teach design and control theory. My research interests are multiple robotic manipulators, robotic machining, motion planning, mobile robotic manipulators, and teaching related topics.
