Due to the COVID-19 Omicron variant, the Renison English Language Institute Office (REN 1930) will be closed for visitors from January 1 and re-open in person on January 27. However, our staff is available to support you virtually with any questions. If you are a future student, please visit our Contact page for more information. If you are a current student, please visit our Meet-ups webpage.  

For the Winter 2022 term, ELI programs will return to an in-person format. However, classes will not be available in person until January 27. Learn more about our in-person and online program offerings.

Korean Consul General Kang Jeong-sik will be speaking about "The Korean Peninsula and Korea's Relations with its Neighbors" here at Renison University College on Wednesday, Feb. 11 from 2:30 - 3:50 pm. 

Hosted by Renison's Department of East Asian Studies, this free lecture promises to be very interesting, with a unique perspective coming from the Consul General himself.

Get a taste of Asia at the East Asian Studies (EAS) food fair! This free event will let you sample traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean food. 

This event is a great opportunity to learn more about culture and popular dishes from China, Japan, and Korea. It is also a great way to practice your English and interact with undergraduate students at the University of Waterloo!
