Free tours for the public have been conducted at the Gustav Bakos Observatory for over ten years. These tours include monthly public tours; scheduled tours for groups such as girl guides, boy scouts, and elementary and high school classes; and tours for viewing special events such as eclipses and comets.

The Social Impact Showcase hosted by St.Paul's GreenHouse will be celebrating the diversity of our social innovators and their journeys in social entrepreneurship.
The Dialogue Xchange will host a powerhouse panel of GreenHouse alumni who will share their lived experiences as founders of social ventures. We'll also be announcing grants for some early-stage, high-potential ideas, and the Social Impact Fund winners will present their projects.

UWaterloo Balinese Gamelan and Grebel Community Gamelan
with Balinese Artist-in-Residence I Dewa Made Suparta
On the island of Bali, Indonesia there is a plethora of musical ensembles called gamelan, the local term for a set of instruments made primarily of bronze or bamboo. The UWaterloo Department of Music at Conrad Grebel University College is home to a gamelan semara dana consisting of bronze gongs and metallophones, drums, and bamboo flutes.
