Free tours for the public have been conducted at the Gustav Bakos Observatory for over ten years. The Chilly Dog Run will be a community event hosted by UW MATES, and is all about promoting mental health, community involvement, and a healthy life style! The event will take place on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 9:00am to 3:00pm and consists of a 5km (about 2 laps) walk/run around Ring Road at the University of Waterloo campus. Attendees will first meet at the Student Life Center (SLC) on UW Campus. Following the run, attendees will be meeting up back at the SLC for lunch (provided by the event) and refreshments.
