The Renison English Language Institute Office (REN 1930) is CLOSED and not available for visitors, in accordance with COVID-19 measures. Moving forward, we will be providing support in a virtual format. Read more about how to connect with ELI online.

For the Winter 2021 term, we will continue to offer programs in a virtual format, including our Winter 2021 term of English For Academic Success.

The Renison English Language Institute is excited to kick off your February with our General English at Renison (GEAR) program.

We are pleased to offer GEAR as a great way for students to build their conversation English skills while experiencing a full immersion into Canadian life!

GEAR students will begin their program on Monday, February 3. Below is the itinerary for the Orientation Day.

It's time to check out "Ontario's best tubing experience"! Snow tubing at Chicopee Tube Park is the best way to embrace the Canadian winter with your friends and have some serious fun!


Admission includes transportation and entry to Chicopee Tube Park. Meet at Renison Atrium at 6:15pm, don't be late!

The Brubacher House was built in 1850 in a style typical of Pennsylvania German architecture. In this beautiful setting on the side of a gentle hill, Magdalena and John E. Brubacher raised fourteen children. Farming continued on the land until 1965 when the property was purchased as part of the University of Waterloo.

Look for the reserved seating in the cafeteria. If you live at Renison, you will go through the cafeteria line as usual for your meal.
