Student volunteers from the Bridge to Academic Success in English (BASE) program want you to think about your environmental footprint this Wednesday, November 29 at Renison’s Sustainability Fair!
Close to 25 student volunteers from BASE will be facilitating activities in the Renison Atrium throughout the day between 10:30am to 2:00pm. Upper-year UWaterloo students are also volunteering as peer helpers to positively role model leadership skills and support in the execution of event activities. Activities include:
- Eco Jeopardy
- Traffic Lights Challenge
- Sort-a-thon activity: how do you sort your trash?
- What is your ecological footprint?
- Win prizes donated by the Region of Waterloo and some yummy snacks!
All activities have been brainstormed and developed by the student leaders with the goal to encourage our community to think about ways they can lead a more sustainable lifestyle. Please join us to support.
