UWaterloo English professor Lamees Al Ethari is releasing From the Wounded Banks of the Tigris, a new chapbook of poetry that reflects on her personal experience of the American invasion of Iraq in 2003 and its aftermath. The book will be featured at a number of area events, including launches in London on Oct. 4 and Toronto on October 5.
