The MAD darkroom is fully-equipped to produce high-quality photographic prints from your negative film. If you don't have film, you can make photograms! MAD also has a film development room for developing your black and white film. If you don't want to make prints from your film, there are film scanners available. Visit MAD Service Desk to book out the film holders for these scanners.

There are no costs to use these facilities and the chemicals, but you need to bring your own photographic paper. We can provide training on how to develop your film or prints.

You must complete the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) 2015 training before using these facilities. If you have completed WHMIS training prior to 2015 or did not complete the training through LEARN, you will have to complete the training again. Learn how to self-enrol in WHMIS 2015:
