With interdisciplinary programs and researchers, we make meaningful change happen in the classroom, the office, and in communities around the world. Our vision is to use our unique position as a leading teaching and research institute for the environment to create sustainable solutions needed to address the complex challenges facing our world.

    The faculty has hired Brock Dickinson, the outgoing CEO of MDB Insight as its new Entrepreneur in Residence. His firm was recognized by Profit magazine as one of the Hot 50 fastest growing young firms.

    The Geography and Environmental Management researchers will receive the funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation(CFI) for infrastructure to support their research. Geography at Environment is is one of the top 100 Geography programs in the world, and ranked fourth in Canada.
