For over 50 years the Faculty of Environment has been dedicated to having a positive impact locally and globally. With interdisciplinary programs and research, our community of students, faculty, alumni, donors and staff make meaningful change happen in the classroom, the office, and in communities around the world. Our vision is to use our unique position as a leading teaching and research institute for the environment to create sustainable solutions needed to address the complex challenges facing our world.

Last week, twenty Faculty of Environment alumni joined Centre for Career Action advisor, Alicia Flatt to help nearly sixty environment students learn top tips for selling their unique skills and attributes - and to practice networking in a safe, comfortable environment.

    On Friday March 22nd, we will be hosting another seminar for our Environment Seminar Series! In AL 105 from 11:30a.m. - 1:30p.m., we will have two speakers: Jason Thistlethwaite and Jessica Blythe. Lunch will be served at 11:30a.m., with the two half-hour talks beginning around 12:00p.m.

This event is geared to showing students how they can leverage their co-op experiences to create a one-of-a-kind career path. Come hear from presenters including Wayne Chang (Organizer and Coordinator of the Enterprise Co-op Program) and Nigel Moore (Manager of Global Programs and Initiatives for the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy).  Co-op can be the start to your dream career path!
