Building Pathways and Partnerships for Venture Creation
Are you a Faculty of Environment student with an interest in social innovation, green business, venture creation or social entrepreneurship? Do you have an idea to create a better future, or to solve a problem? Entrepreneurship at Environment is here to help!
For more than 50 years Environment students, in the tradition of Waterloo’s culture of innovation, have changed the landscape of Canadian business by taking risks and transforming their passion for sustainability into companies, organizations and movements.
With the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) as a guide, we’ve created Entrepreneurship at Environment. At the crossroads of business and sustainability we’re continuing our tradition of helping solve the world’s wicked problems with the launch of Entrepreneurship at Environment.
Entrepreneurship at Environment builds pathways and partnerships to help Environment students explore their passions and consider turning their ideas into an actual enterprise. We work with partners across campus to provide you with a hub of resources and support including coaching, mentorship, and training. Whether you need help with brainstorming your idea, or need one-on-one advice about your business plan, we offer a dedicated team of advisors, workshops and networking opportunities. Take advantage of the expertise and resources offered to help build your venture ideas.
